TOMORROW'S
Christian Menu conducted initial research on the item of the development of short supply chain, self-sufficiency, renewable energies and recycling as early as 1985.
That year he presented his two projects of environmental microcities at the Tsukuba Universal Exhibition in Japan, where he was awarded the Grand Prize of architecture of the Tomorrow’s Habitat.
Since then he has regularly proposed his innovative ideas in the context of public competitions or private developments. Today it is time to apply and implement these imaginative alternative solutions, to revive the ingenuity and creativity of architecture and the entire construction industry.
The building must challenge itself and answer by the quality of its inventiveness.
TOMORROW’S is Christian Menu Architect research studio.
Christian Menu a mené de premières recherches sur le thème du développement des circuits courts, d'autosuffiscance, des énergies renouvelables et du recyclage dès 1985.
Cette année-là il présentait ses deux projets de microcités environnementales à l’Exposition universelle de Tsukuba au Japon, où il lui était décerné le Grand Prix d’architecture UNESCO-UIA "Habitat de demain".
Depuis il a régulièrement proposé ses idées innovantes dans le cadre de concours publics ou de développements privés. Aujourd’hui il est temps d’appliquer et de mettre en œuvre ces solutions alternatives imaginatives, de relancer l’ingéniosité et la créativité de l’architecture et de toute la filière de la construction.
Le bâtiment doit se remettre en cause et répliquer par la qualité de son inventivité.
